ICF's otological products for dogs and cats

ICF has for over 35 years formulated a range of otological products for dogs and cats to clean and cleanse the ears that meet different needs.

Oto plus for daily ear cleaning

The ears of dog or cat require thorough cleaning because they are very delicate. Keeping the ears of your dog or cat carefully cleaned, is not only a matter of hygiene, but also a very effective form of prevention.

Clorexyderm® oto plus is an ear solution for dog and cat based on chlorexidine and lactobionic acid with moisturising and soothing action.

Clorexyderm® oto plus is the routine otological product useful both in healthy animals, puppies and adults, and for the ear cleaning before application of the ear treatment prescribed by the veterinary surgeon.

Otoact: removing earwax at home

Otoact® is an ear solution for dog and cat with squalene, safe even in the presence of an injured eardrum. which removes all excess ear wax from dog and cat ears!

Its particularly pleasant fragrance makes it the ideal product for cleaning the ear canal in the presence of overproduction of cerumen.

Otodine the ear solution recommended by vets

Otodine® is an ear solution for dog and cat, patented throughout Europe since 2005, based on Chlorhexidine and Tris-EDTA.

Otodine®, due to its composition, it is an adjuvant in the treatment of bacterial and/or Malassezia.

When to use Otodine or Otoact?

The ears are lined with skin and thorough cleaning prevents the formation of pabulum, i.e. material on which bacteria and yeasts such as the Malassezia, which can cause otitis.

Ear infections, however, in addition to bacterial or yeast infections, can also be ceruminous, i.e. caused by excessive production of earwax. Often the amount of earwax increases due to incorrect nutrition or states of allergies and/or food intolerances.

Otoact ® ear solution helps make earwax softer and easier to remove by the owner in cases of ceruminous otitis with dry earwax and/or the production of ceruminoliths (so-called 'ear plugs').

Otodine ® ear solution is an effective adjuvant in the therapy prescribed by a veterinary surgeon who finds bacterial or yeast otitis such as Malassezia
