Skingel^® is an ICF srl product for topical use that features a simple yet highly effective formulation thanks to the numerous properties of zinc oxide in combination with propylene glycol, glycerine and sage glycol extract.

Zinc oxide: powerful antiphlogistic properties; antiseptic and antimicrobial agent. It forms a protective layer on the skin and is essential for wound cicatrization. Zinc oxide creates an excellent barrier, protecting the skin from moisture, while encouraging the epidermis’ natural regeneration process.

Propylene glycol is one of the components used as a vehicle for the administration of topical medicines. It provides a humectant and moisturising action. It also acts against yeasts such as Malassezia pachidermatisIt is humectant (acting on surface tension, it favours water penetration), counteracting the drying effect of atopic dermatitis due to the associated hyperhidrosis of the skin.

Glycerine has a humectant and moisturising action that enhances the effect of propylene glycol.

Finally, sage glycolic extract has astringent, pain-relieving and antisudorific action.

The product differs from classic topical anti-itch and anti-inflammatory products in the complete absence of both topical and systemic side effects.

Thoroughly clean the wound (with Clorexyderm® Solution). Dry and apply a light layer of Skingel^® on skin folds and reddened areas, massaging.

The product can be applied several times a day.
